Facebook Updating?

Excuse me. I was writing a wall post for someone, and you decide to start updating? Why?

Anyone care to speculate what this little error message means for Facebook? What are they doing behind the scenes?

FOX + Simpsons Movie Leak

Since the Czech’s were the first to see the movie (Thursday instead of Friday for everywhere else in the world) the movie was released a few hours later after the official release.

“The Czech dubbed version of The Simpsons Movie made it to BitTorrent trackers a few hours after its world premiere, followed by a Pirate Bay celebration. Due to the Czech Republic screening movie premieres on Thursdays, the Czech fans were amongst the first people worldwide to watch the movie.”

Debunking Linux and its Relationship with Gaming

I’m tired of people who are afraid to switch to Linux because of its so called “lack of games, or at least good ones.” What I think is they just want the games they like ported to Linux instead of trying new ones. Or maybe it’s because the games are free and that is already a sign the game is bad, but I’m beginning to think quite the opposite. I have a list here of 17 games that I think every Linux user should give a shot to prove that it is quite a very adept gaming platform. I restricted my self to games that do not run on WINE, can be open or closed source, and of course, run on Linux.

µTorrent mUI is a mobile version of WebUI, that enables you control your
torrents remotely from anywhere. It works on every mobile, including Opera Mini. Here’s a screenshot of the current non-mobile Web UI integrated within the latest version of µTorrent.

HOWTO: Dump iTunes for An Open Source Upgrade

I really hate iTunes. I love open source. You might ask, “What is open source?”

Source that is open means that the code that runs a program is available to the people. Some examples are Firefox, Azureus (Bittorrent client with headquarters in Palo Alto), and Audacity (free music editing software).

Why is this good? The Rationale Is: “We require access to un-obfuscated source code because you can’t evolve programs without modifying them. Since open source’s purpose is to make evolution easy, we require that modification be made easy.”

I got rid of iTunes a time ago.
