Woah, Apple limits Buyers to Two iPhones

July 5th, 2007

Woah, don’t go out and buy more than one Shiny New Piece of Trash. Maybe that is a little bit harsh, but do you really need TWO iPhones? There is probably a better way to spend your money. I wish Apple wouldn’t have limited, someone would come in, buy all the phones, and put them on Ebay for a huge markup. Then no one would get one. It would be for the best. Unfortunately, I don’t always get my way. Apple limited the maximum consumption per person to two iPhones.

Still, Apple has stopped all those nincompoops and Apple fanboys, who insisted on being first in line for the bloody product, from being too overzealous. A fanboy on Twitter, imagined a story. {Thanks for Tip by Dan York of Disruptive Conversations}

[It revolved around] a series of what looked like posts from an embedded war reporter (albeit one in a dumpster), he rapidly had Canada, Mexico and Russia invading the US to get all of our iPhones, the USA being wiped out and the ultimate collapse of civilization.

Sort of strange, I know. But it shows you to what lengths people are willing to go for these silly phones. Steve Jobs, the fake one, published this story.

Some dame in Dallas showed up last Friday with thousands of dollars in cash hoping to buy out the whole store and sell the phones on eBay. She paid a kid $800 to give up the first spot in line and rushed in, only to find out they were only selling one phone per person. D’oh! Dumbass. Better yet, then the kid who gave up his spot just walked in a few minutes later and bought his iPhone, no problem.

This guy deserves what he got. All iPhone users are throwing their money down the well. There are alot of reasons I am saying this. I read reviews here, and here. Besides some peoples glowing reviews, I would never buy one. That isn’t to say that I wouln’t take one (wink wink, nudge nudge).

Last point, would you rather get 30 lap dances, or an iPhone? What would convince you to spend 600 dollares on one? Or are you already convinced?
