69 Tech Blogs That Don’t Suck
July 8th, 2007I realize that alot of people don’t go out and find good blogs. I want to democratize the process. Here is a list of blogs that I read, and that I think are really awesome reads in general, no matter what you are interested. This post is what I achieved when I tried to get the most out of my blog reading. I hope it gives you a sense of a blog pulse. I am definitely feeling it. These are in no particular order, so don’t feel bad if your blog is a lower number.

UPDATE: Followup: The 69 Rankings Part 1
UPDATE: Followup: The 69 Rankings Part 2

Great list. I monitor many of these, and you’ve added a few I didn’t know of. Hope its not considered spam to recommend another but I’d suggest Metue (www.metue.com) be on the list. Or a future list. It’s not a widely known site. I found it a couple weeks ago but have been very impressed with its quality and perspective.
This is a nice list, i have some of them on my rss reader. guess some more to add. Anyone visited http://www.irintech.com. check it out they are quite like digg and getting popular too.
Great list, I can’t say I read even 10% of them.. I’ve been to some, some I haven’t heard of and others I check semi-weekly.
I would hope you don’t think mine sucks:
http://www.centernetworks.com
Looks like you basically pulled the good ones out of the Technorati 100?
It makes me smile to see that endadget is not on the list. They are given WAY too much credit.
Perhaps a few words on what each blog covers would be nice since I’m not familiar with all of them and I don’t necessarily have time to investigate each one.

This is cool
http://meninweb.blogspot.com/
what, no engadget?
My blog will be listed one day in this list soon :)
Tech Thoughts
This is a terrible list… some of these blogs haven’t been updated in forever… for instance Tech Puddle hasn’t been updated in almost 2 YEARS.
I’m sorry, but you happened to forget Engadget! How could you possibly forget it? Even Bill Gates reads it!
And Joystiq may have a few crappy writers, but it’s generally a good blog. Guess it’s more for gaming, though.
Thanks for the linkage, it’s appreciated!
List of Tech Blogs…
List of Tech Blogs…
Check Out GAZHOO.COM
Hey! http://www.GadgetNutz.com doesn’t suck either! We’re very proud of our record of non-suckiness!
I would put TechEBlog.com on the list!!!
A real deep thank you for (rightly so) not including the awful engaydget blog – it goes against everything good in the world, I hate the commercialized link whoring place!
gizmodo FTW! i

I could not understand why you posted image with blog name/link.
Is is all paid links?

Ok I checked few. Good blogs.
Another good one is
http://www.comnetslash.com
Although a new comer, this one seems to do well in covering alot of new tech news regarding everything techy related.
The ones are above are well established blogs that have been around for a while. CNS is one to note for the future.
Thanks for the list, but I would have preferred if you gave some reasoning to it. I visit a handful of these sites religiously, but I have never heard of some of the others.
Maybe a little blurb about each of them and what they stand for – that could have saved me time from going through each and every one – but good list nonetheless!
Uhhh Hello??? Ever hear of Engadget? The best tech blog on the Internet!?!?
One not so techy, but oh so funny is this california kid starting up a business with his good buddy, running rough shod over Berlin, their new stopming grounds. Not for the faint of heart.
http://www.jdubblog.com
WIll be buried if Engadget is not added to the lot!!!
This list isn’t very good, your missing the very best one of all:
engadget.com
This so so valuable. Thank you for taking the time to put it all together, take the screen shots, and do the hyper linking.
This will take me some time to go though…:)
What about http://www.frostfirebuzz.com ?
Hi,
Another site which is quickly gathering many readers, and which a lot of people haven’t really heard of yet, is Beskerming.com (link above), specifically, the commentary section. Okay, so I represent it, but we are getting strong interest building from within the tech media community (which is actually how most people have found the site). It might be worth a look.
Damn, I wish I was on the list. Great list, btw.
I can’t believe you didn’t include Paul Thurrot’s Internet Nexus. Paul is an obvious genius and knows everything. His insight is amazing; in fact, he is almost as good as Rob Enderle!
Thanks dude, i’ve been reading some of those mentioned and im sure gonna take a look at all the rest.
Here are some more good ones.

If you’re looking for a great Tech vLog… check out Digital Punch Tv. A great mix if tech/web news and comedy.
Awesome stuff! I knew some of those BLOGs before coming here, but I’m gonna be busy for a couple of days, checking out the others.
Thank you for providing this information. Extremely useful, educational and entertaining (at least for me). Isn’t it amazing how different people perceive the BLOGosphere, what’s important and all that, based on a number of intangible preferences?
Did you forget one? Personally, I think the WebGyver BLOG should be somewhere on this list, too, between number 1 and 69.
Thanks again!
You don’t read Ars Technica? And you call yourself a geek?! :-D
That is a very good list. I am already regularly reading many of these blogs, and this post showed me some other good ones that I haven’t seen before. Thanks
Well, I’d like to think my own blog doesn’t suck. But since it not in this list…
Nicely put together. Maybe add RSS Feed links for everyone to enjoy?
Ariejan de Vroom
http://ariejan.net
Thanks for including me on the list! Have a great day.
Kuro5hin, a tech site that doesn’t suck? C’MON! Kuro5hin has been tech-hostile for at least 5 years, and is a ghost of its former self. After the pax americana crapstorm, it just sort of dried up and turned into something that’s barely evolved beyond LOLCATS.
I won’t argue with any of the rest, though.
Nice collection of tech blogs – good one – thanks for the effort :)
dont forget about
http://www.inventgeek.com
Obviously this list is silly….no uncov or mashable or readwriteweb
do we really need 69 tech blogs to read?
top ten list thx.

This blog just launched today it looks like and has already got some pretty cool techie stuff on there: http://www.slonkyblog.com
I’m sorry, but where is Jetpacked?!
I would say boingboing.com is a good site as well not always tech related but an awesome site nonetheless.
Thanks for the great plug michael! We would love to have everyone take a look at http://www.AskTheAdmiN.com and comment away! Post some questions … Post some answers… Read some wacky stories…

great list..maybe my blog will be in the list soon..hehe
I like ministry of tech
This list is total BullShit for 2 reasons 1- Engagdet is not on the list and 2 – TheBlogJoint.com is not on the list (my own blog) I figured if some crap like “Ed Brill” can be on the list why can’t I???

Thanks for the superb data like this good post. Could you assist to notice the custom thesis service or an experienced dissertation writing service to purchase the thesis papers in?
Internet is overflowing with the essay writers , which would give all required topics about this topic.
Finally I got a really nice or we can say useful post. Thanks for sharing a lovely post.
Sometimes, scholars complete the thesis title by their own. But some opt to buy the imazing issue associated with this post from the dissertation writing service, because that seems to be more comfortable.
Your issue about this good post is best and some students would plainly use it for the already written essay or custom term paper. I do think that can be a really brilliant solution for students which don’t really have a lot of time to order an essay. But for me, this is more workable to use a help of the professional writing services.
Really useful information. Thanks because that is the useful fact.If you want to get a excellent paper about this topic you can use plagiarism detector, and i’ll approve you to check it in http://www.plagiarismsearch.com ! unlike those services, they offer exceptional quality guaranty that your work is dump of plagiarism. You like to order custom written essays choosing the plagiarism detection. They will give you an accurate plagiarism detection reporting without any delay.

Great way to get the information about this good post, is to buy custom essay papers or essays written.
Thanks that you finished the perfectly done release about this post. But, to select the perfect essay writing services, students should read about order essay.
I like all the other changes and I would like to appreciate the improvements. I impressed by the innovation, without gimmicks. I will think about this site’s offers.
