Want to actually win a free iPhone?

Me.dium, one of my absolute favorite Firefox extensions, is giving away five Apple iPhones over a five week period, and there are some pretty good chances of winning one. (Sorry that I have two Me.dium articles in a row)

Here are the official rules:

The Weekly Game -
Me.dium will hold a drawing for an iPhone on the next four Monday’s, selecting one lucky user who made ten or more new friends during the previous Monday – Sunday week.

The Monthly Game –
We’ll give away a fifth iPhone on Sept. 3 to the person who has made the most friends over the length of the contest (Aug. 6th – Sept. 1st).

1. Me.dium iPhone contest is open to U.S. Me.dium users only (yeah, this one’s a major bummer).
2. Each Me.dium user can win only once within a 45 day period (you don’t need two iPhones).
3. Friend relationships created from the same IP will be ignored for the final count (you can’t be your own friend).
4. Winners may be required to sign a release, and all winners agree to allow Me.dium to use their Me.dium username, and/or likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
5. Employees and agents of Me.dium, Inc. and their families, their advertising agencies, or representatives are ineligible to enter.
6. Me.dium reserves the right to revoke prizes if the winner does not meet any or all eligibility requirements, even though an announcement may have been made indicating that person was the winner (cheaters never prosper).
7. With respect to any disputes regarding contests, the decision of Me.dium will be final.
8. Me.dium and its representatives shall not be liable for any claim, injury or damage from any Me.dium contest or prize awarded in a contest.
9. These rules are subject to change without notice.
